Test Description

Burning glass Interview selection process involves the following rounds.

  • Online Written Test
  • Lookup test and Design test
  • Group discussion
  • Technical Interview
  • Hr Interview

Online Written Test:

This round consist of questions from ,Aptitude, Computer science and Programming concepts.

The aptitude questions had a good mix of probability, speed and time, clocks, numbers, mixtures, time and work etc in Burning glass written test.

In technical section questions from Data Structures[trees, preorder, post, inorder traversals, complexity ofsearch/sort etc] and questions from computer network basics and operating systems and basic programming questions.

In this round you have 90 minutes to attend 90 questions with a negative mark of 1 for each wrong answer and this round consists of only multiple choice questions.

 Second Round:

Second round consists of 2 sections,

1.Look up test (20 mins)

2.Design test (20 mins)


Lookup test:

It is a rapid fire round. Round consists of 25-30 pictures and each picture will be displayed for 5 secs, asked to write a line about the picture within the time given. At last, a picture will be displayed for 5 mins and we have to write a story about the picture.


Design test:

4 problems were given, asked to solve any 2 problems by developing a better algorithm.

In Written test there is no bound of time for particular section. you can devote any amount of time to any section but the maximum time limit is one and half hour for the whole paper.
