Test Description

The Capgemini old test pattern had only 2 sections which consist of Quantitative aptitude and Analytical Reasoning. The total no of questions are 32 which was to be completed by a time limit of 50 minutes. Also, they had an additional round of essay writing with the time limit of 20 minutes.

Since the previous test pattern was not so challenging they have changed the pattern with one additional section.
The new test pattern of Capgemini has one new technical section containing 20 questions from Computer Fundamentals. For this section, questions are from Basics of computer science on topics such as OS, Networking, Data structures etc, and Programming concepts such as pseudo code, algorithms, flow chart, debugging, inputs and output etc in a multiple-choice question format. The other sections are the same. This technical section has 20 questions which have to be answered in 20 minutes The aptitude section has 16 questions and the reasoning section has 16 questions with a total 32 questions which are to be completed by a time limit of 50 minutes. Totally the new test pattern has 52 questions which have to be answered in 70 minutes.

In essay writing, students are provided with a single topic related to the scenario, current affairs and general topics etc and have given a time limit of 20 minutes to complete it. In this round essay topic relevancy, English proficiency, grammar, and creativity of an individual are tested.

Capgemini’s online test is conducted by Cocubes.

There is a sectional time limit for both general aptitude and technical written test, the scores for all the three sections are calculated separately and those students who clear the cut-off in all the sections are shortlisted for the next round. Hence concentrate equally on all the three sections in Capgemini recruitment process.
